With extensive experience in cosmetic, implant and digital dentistry, Dr Andrew Ellis is known for combining advanced technology with a thoughtful, function-driven approach to treatment.

Dr Ellis graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a BChD degree in 1998, receiving the Colgate Prize for Maxillo-Facial Surgery. After qualifying, he moved to London, where he established Fulham Dental Care, a successful private practice in the Chelsea area providing comprehensive dental care.

After eight years in the United Kingdom, he returned to Cape Town and joined Patheodent in 2007, becoming a partner in 2009. His clinical work focuses on aesthetic dentistry, implant dentistry and digital CAD/CAM restorative treatments.

Dr Ellis has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of Temporomandibular disorders (TMD). With years of experience in the field, he focuses on evidence based, conservative treatment approaches to relieve pain and restore jaw function.His patient-centered philosophy emphasises clear communication, precision and long term outcomes.
